Equity and Social Justice/Fare Evasion

8:45 - 10:15 a.m.

How do you manage fare evasion? This session tackles the challenge of balancing fare evasion, social justice and equity. King County Metro will share their findings from a 2018 study, and how they changed their approach to fare
evasion to create a safer, more beneficial model for all. In addition, Sound Transit will discuss their experiences with this issue and a recent TCRP study on this topic will also be shared.
